Access to the Members Only section is restricted to paid MABC voting (registered midwives) and non-voting (honorary, non-practicing, supporting and student) members.

To access this secure section, MABC members must indicate their agreement to abide by the terms of usage stated below:

All MABC members are committed to the mandate of the MABC:

• promote the profession of midwifery within the province of British Columbia

• advocate for the ongoing development and enhancement of midwifery services

• provide continuing education opportunities for its members

• provide professional services to its members, including liability insurance and representation in matters of remuneration and benefits

• lobby for midwifery education programs which are provincially available, broad based, accessible, and affordable

• protect the interests of its members.

Matters under discussion in the Members Only section would remain confidential among members of the MABC.
