Shelley-Ann Clarke
Regstered Midwife
My desire to become a midwife began in highschool as I
observed my cousin's pregnancy and birth. Throughout university
it became clear, that working with women as a midwife to
help empower and give them choice throughout their pregnancies
was the best choice for me. I completed the Midwifery Education
Program at Laurentian University in Ontario. Most of my
work experience as a midwife has been in Northern Ontario
where I was born. I have recently moved to British Columbia
and I greatly look forward to learning from, and working
with the women and families of Moonwater Birthing.
