My interest in birth, breastfeeding and babies began in high school and soon I was serving birthing women and their families as a childbirth educator and doula. I pursued advanced midwifery education through clinical and academic study in Canada and the US, including apprenticeship with home birth midwives, supervised hospital practice and internships in a high volume birth center.

It has been an honor to witness, and participate in, the miracle of birth for over 16 years and I continue to offer my support and knowledge to local childbearing families. I endeavor to provide evidence based care combined with a flexible, holistic philosophy. I empower and assist my clients to create their best pregnancy, birth and early parenting experience.

My clients can take advantage of day, evening or weekend clinic appointments or home visits. The clinic is located at Bloom Family Wellness Centre in North Vancouver. Labour and birth care is provided in client’s homes or at St. Paul’s, BC Women’s or Lions Gate Hospitals.

Parenting, like midwifery, asks for an open mind, open heart and continuous learning. My four children were all born with the loving assistance of midwives. My goal is to provide safe, professional and personalized care to the women and families of this beautiful and diverse community. I look forward to meeting you!
