Trang Duong,
Naturopathic Physician,
Registered Midwife
Currently non-practicing
Dr. Duong received her Bachelor's degree in Biology with
Honors at the University of California in Santa Cruz with
a minor in Women's Studies. She accomplished her medical
training at Bastyr University and clinical training at the
Bastyr Center for Natural Health in Seattle, Washington,
where she received her degree in Naturopathic Medicine and
Midwifery. Dr. Duong has also completed the Breastfeeding
Counselor Certification Program through Douglas College
in New Westminster. She is certified in Neonatal Resuscitation
and Fetal Health Surveillance by the British Columbia Reproductive
Care Program and is currently a registered midwife with
the College of Midwives of B.C. In 2002, she traveled to
the South Pacific to deliver babies in a developing country.
She is also a Clinical Instructor with the UBC Division
of Midwifery, Department of Family Practice. Her hospital
privileges include Peace Arch Hospital,and Surrey Memorial
Hospital. She currently maintains a family practice at the
Village Health Clinic in Surrey with specialties in Midwifery
and Women and Children's health.
