Midwives give parents another choice
We are pleased to see the work of Vernon midwives Sylvia Nicholson and Carrie Sizer showcased in this local Vernon Morning Star article. “Midwifery is getting more known and it is a privilege and an honour for us to be part of that time for families,” said Nicholson, who, like Sizer, considers being a midwife a calling as well as a profession. Article error note: in BC, midwives do not need to be nurses before becoming midwives.
