Temporary (emergency) Registration Available

BCCNM is accepting applications for Temporary (emergency) registration this summer. Temporary (emergency) registration enables  eligible individuals to register quickly on a short-term basis to assist with emergency health care response in B.C.

For more information please view the BCCNM announcement HERE.

Malpractice Insurance Fees (MPP):  MPP premiums and MABC administrative fees are waived  for Temporary (emergency) registrants.  For all other registrant categories, premiums and fees apply.

Commercial General Liability (CGL) Insurance:  While MPP will waive this requirement with respect to Temporary (emergency) registrants only, both MPP and the MABC strongly recommend that you be covered by CGL.  For more information, please refer to:

If you are a current MABC non-practicing member, please log in to your MABC account to complete your change of status application

If you are a former MABC registrant or a Midwife from other Canadian jurisdictions, please apply here.

Note that applications that are not approved by BCCNM will be canceled.
