MABC would like to introduce three valuable additions to the team.
Trinidad Gonzalez, Member Engagement & Support Advisor
Trin serves as a direct liaison for members facing various challenges, from negotiating with Health Authorities to navigating new communities and advocating during meetings. Prior to joining MABC, she worked in Human Resources and Provider Recruitment at the Fraser Northwest Division of Family Practice. She oversaw MOA, LPN, Physician, and Nurse Practitioner recruitment and implementation of regional recruitment strategies. In terms of HR, she ensured compliance with provincial HR policies, guidelines and procedures as well as Occupational Health & Safety standards. Trin holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration in Human Resources Management and is a CPHR Candidate. In her spare time, she likes to run, hike, road cycle and spend as much time with her family.
Dilpreet Tatla, Communication Coordinator
Dilpreet brings her passion for effective communication to our team as our Communication Coordinator. With a Bachelor's degree in Communications and a minor in Print and Digital Publishing from SFU, she combines academic knowledge with practical experience. Dilpreet's background includes roles in both nonprofits and university institutions, where she honed her marketing skills and developed a deep understanding of strategic communication. Her expertise will play a vital role in enhancing our outreach efforts and engaging our audience effectively. In her spare time Dilpreet likes to listen to music and spend time with family and friends.
Adejoke Adeyemi, Administrative Assistant
Meet Adejoke Adeyemi (“Ade”), serves as an Administrative Assistant at the Midwives Association of British Columbia (MABC) who boasts over a decade of experience as an accomplished Administrative Professional, Scrum Master, Relationship, and Project Administrator. Adejoke demonstrated commitment to efficiency at Pacific Community Resources Society (PCRS) and excelled as a Scrum Master at Dumonde Services Management Inc. She also successfully led cross-functional teams to deliver critical projects while working with Chants IT Solutions. Her role as a Relationship Manager at First Registrars & Investors Services Ltd showcased her adeptness at facilitating effective communication among stakeholders. Leveraging her Masters Degrees in Microbiology and Business Administration, Adejoke resolves organizational challenges while promoting diversity and inclusion in collaborative work environments. Adejoke enjoys networking and spending her free time with her family and close friends.
