RMLP Locum Travel and Accommodation Policy

All active General MABC members are welcome to apply to the RMLP Locum Pool. Simply follow these steps:

• Please ensure you have reviewed the RMLP Policy, FAQ, and Locum Travel and Accommodation policies.
• Have your updated CV ready to be uploaded
• Complete this application form along with your CV

The below 'how to' documents are for current Host and Locum Midwives. Only current Host and Locum midwives will be able to access the pages referred to in these documents.

• The RMLP Travel and Accommodation per diem was developed to help support Locums that must travel to the Host midwife’s community and source accommodation in order to provide coverage.
  
  
• The daily rate that a Locum will be reimbursed is based on the Host Community in which they completed the locum period (maximum 15 days of locum coverage per Host, per fiscal year). Submission of receipts is not required to receive the per diem rate.

The RMLP Travel and Accommodation policy has been updated.

Effective for locum periods with a start date of December 1, 2023, or thereafter, reimbursement for Locums who leave their home community and source accommodation in the Host’s community to provide coverage can claim a per diem to help cover travel and accommodation related expenses.
